Overview
The Autodesk CAD Specialist / Designer is a trusted technical resource responsible for producing accurate rail and transit engineering contract documents in accordance with client and agency drafting standards.
This role supports multidisciplinary engineering teams by ensuring all deliverables meet established design requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and revise rail and transit engineering drawings in compliance with client and agency CAD standards.
• Translate engineering markups and design inputs into accurate, coordinated contract documents.
• Ensure drawing quality, consistency, and compliance across track, civil, structural, and systems disciplines.
• Manage CAD files, references, and sheet sets in accordance with project requirements.
• Incorporate client and agency review comments and support project design milestones.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services or engineering consulting environment.
• Proficiency with Autodesk BIM tools – AutoCAD – and supporting their BIM-enabled workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and experience with Bluebeam Revu workflows.
• Experience with engineering applications preferred: Civil 3D, Revit, InfoDrainage/Storm&Sanitary Analysis.
• Experience with equivalent Bentley products a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
